About Me
I have worked in the fashion industry for nearly 30 years. In that time I have worked with some of the best brands in the world. I was a womenswear buyer for 21 years. I bought designer denim and designer womenswear for Selfridge’s department store for 7 years. This involved travelling to all the fashion weeks across the globe and working with over 130 brands.
I have also worked for and with some of the most exciting brands on the UK High street including Topshop and Reiss, bought for luxury retailer Prada, and most recently consulted for designer Margaret Howell for 11 years. I have also worked with many smaller up-and-coming brands. In addition to consulting work I also write a monthly column for The Times and regularly The Telegraph, Stella, Red and The Mail.
In 2023 I launched Think Shape. An app designed to help women understand their body shape and proportions, empowering them and giving them the confidence to dress smarter, happier and more mindfully. I want to help millions of women to cut through the fashion jargon and noise and truly learn how to dress for their unique body. Please click here for more information
I can cater to any budget large or small. I advise starting with a body map so that you can truly understand your shape and make it work for you, coupled with colour analysis to show you the best colours for your complexion. A wardrobe management session is another must, if you have too many clothes and no sense of what your style is, you will always feel frustrated and lost. I also offer outfit building, either with your own wardrobe or after a personal shopping trip. I know how to navigate all the London department stores, which brands work for which shapes, where to find the best boutiques and how to shop smartly.
After a personal shopping session with me you will have a capsule wardrobe that you can then build on, confident in dressing for your shape, wearing your best colours and championing your own signature look.
