Hurrah for trainers. They graced numerous feet on the front row and I did not have to lug a pair of heels back and forth from show to mini party. The sheer elation I felt striding over Waterloo bridge to Somerset House (www.londonfashionweek.co.uk) in the very shoes I was show bound in..And the weather matched my mood; sunny and bright. Magic! I had to hot foot it from there to a little girl’s party to pick up my boys. In this outfit it was easy, although I did have to surreptitiously move away from cake covered fingers. Velvet and cake don’t mix….
