I wore this outfit for an informal barbeque at a friends place last week. No sticky fingered children to contend with so I opted for a delicate silk dress. I have worn this with heels but it feels a little ‘off ‘ right now so I reverted to flats. In this heat it seems so much more appropriate.
This was a smash and grab purchase – I didn’t try it on in store but was supremely pleased with it once I got it home. It’s from H&M a couple of years ago but it could so easily pass for Acne or See by Chloe. I like it for the flamenco frill, the reassuringly thick bra friendly straps, the coral hint in the orange and for the glorious looseness of the fit. Ideal for stuffing one’s face at a buffet style barbeque.
